Caretaker I Position

About the Opportunity

Rocky View Schools is seeking a part-time Caretaker I to provide routine cleaning duties at Prairie Waters Elementary School. This is a continuing position with 12.5 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday after school hours, with occasional day shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including attention to detail and complex cleaning duties
  • Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform building security checks as scheduled
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS, and other relevant legislation
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
  • Certifications from cleaning organizations are considered an asset
  • Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
