Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our physiotherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the highest standards of patient care, adhering to the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario's Standards of Practice.
- Assess and analyze patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans in consultation with patients and their families.
- Implement treatment plans, providing instruction in self-management and health promotion.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness, ensuring high-quality care through quality monitoring, program evaluation, and performance evaluation.
- Provide timely, accurate, and objective information about treatment, progress, and discharge planning.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection prevention and control measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in in-service and community education programs to enhance professional development.
- Record statistics in accordance with Rehabilitation Services Policies and Procedures.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs undertaken by the Patient Services Team.
- Coordinate the delivery of physiotherapy services with other team members.
- Graduate of an accredited Physiotherapy Program.
- Current Independent Practice Certificate or Supervised License with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (B.C.L.S.).
- Experience treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and/or respiratory problems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and hospital software.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrated initiative and self-direction with the ability to work with minimal supervision and contribute to a team.
- Must be available to work all shifts as required, including weekends, stat holidays, day, and evening shifts.
