Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Summit Resort MPM o/a Blackcomb Springs Suites.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resort rooms, common areas, and public spaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resort rooms, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and walking
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling
  • Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, patience, and honesty
