About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Design Specialist to join our team at Kelson. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings and coordinating with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate design drawings and specifications for various projects, utilizing software such as Autodesk Fabrication, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure design drawings meet project requirements and are completed on time.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of construction industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure design drawings meet project requirements.
  • Participate in BIM site meetings and contribute to the development of design drawings and specifications.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in CAD/BIM design, with a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, and Autodesk Fabrication.
  • Experience reading and interpreting large-scale project drawings, mechanical shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
