Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service to clients via phone and in-person interactions
  • Upsell and cross-sell corporate products and services to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Address customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Work to resolve problem shipments and equipment/technology challenges
  • Collaborate with Head Office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers, and other corporate partners to ensure excellence in customer service
  • Build positive relationships with customers, key contacts, and vendors
  • Assist customers with shipping details and account challenges
  • Load, scan, log, and call resolution freight
  • Perform cash reconciliation, including deposits and key control
  • Communicate effectively with customers, key partners, and team members

Requirements:

  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience and adaptation to using technology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Personal responsibility and accountability for actions and situations
  • 3-12 months customer service experience preferred
  • 3-12 months retail experience preferred
  • 3-12 months experience using technology/POS system preferred
  • Ability to lift 70lbs and stand for 3 hour intervals
  • Professional communication skills: oral communication (telephone and in-person), written communication, and listening skills
  • Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability, including attendance, uniform compliance, and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a team environment and independently an asset
  • Experience working in an environment with safety standards an asset
