About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at William Osler Health System. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and fluoroscopic-guided procedures.
  • Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Accredited Medical Degree (or equivalent)
  • Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) with an additional Fellowship year
  • License to practice and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • Expertise in MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and fluoroscopic-guided procedures
  • Ability to perform body interventional procedures and venous lines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills
