Position: Site Assistant / Carpenter
We are seeking a Site Assistant / Carpenter to contribute to our dynamic team. This role involves hands-on carpentry and various tasks across multiple job sites in the Lower Mainland. The position offers potential growth opportunities within our organization, including advancement to roles such as Site Foreman and Site Superintendent. Please note that this position may require evening, night, and weekend shifts, in addition to daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Superintendent in maintaining efficient site operations.
- Perform carpentry and handyman tasks, including backing, hoarding construction, and formwork.
- Provide general site assistance as needed.
- Ensure all project deficiencies are addressed and resolved at project completion.
- Maintain site cleanliness and organization to facilitate trade access and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the project schedule by delivering quality work promptly.
- Participate in the Novacom COR Safety Program, conducting daily hazard assessments and site inspections.

- Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, hands-on skills, and familiarity with materials and tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with site supervisors and team members.
- Capability to establish effective working relationships with construction personnel and subcontractors.
- Must possess independent transportation for site travel.
