About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at Duckworth Truck Center Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, repairs, and replacements of parts and components.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and diagnose and repair issues with automotive systems and components.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and completing reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Language: English.
