Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at NEW LINE PLUMBING INC. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Repair Plumbing Systems: Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and Mark Pipe Connections: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut and Join Pipes: Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test and Inspect Pipes: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Estimate and Manage Costs: Estimate costs and materials, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a Plumber Trade Certification and a valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Experience and Education: Have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field, and a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent.
  • Area of Specialization: Have experience working in high-rise buildings (8 stories or more).
