Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Afzal Tirmzi & Sons Transport Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to pick up and deliver goods and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure that company vehicles are properly maintained and equipped for safe transportation of goods and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods and products from vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Trip Planning and Record Keeping: Use maps and other trip planning aids to plan efficient routes and record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure that vehicles are in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Vehicle Supply: Company vehicles will be provided for use.
  • Travel Expenses: Travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent client focus, flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
