The Department Manager plays a crucial role in the success of our stores, acting as a representative of the company to the team under their supervision. They motivate, lead, guide, and train employees to achieve store and company objectives, improve processes, and resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Work: Ensure work is carried out according to set priorities and company requirements.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Resolve any issues that may arise while ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Merchandising and Replenishment: Carry out merchandising duties and supervise the replenishment process according to the Store Manager's directions.
  • Promotional Activities: Manage promotional activities based on sales performance.
  • Staff Recruitment and Development: Assist in recruiting staff for the department and participate in employee training and performance assessment.
  • Work Schedule and Labour Budget: Determine work schedules while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Employee Coaching and Development: Coach, encourage, and motivate employees, and apply corrective measures if required.
Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about team management and development. Previous experience in sales and customer service is an asset. The ideal candidate will have excellent judgment when setting priorities and be able to exercise good leadership skills.
