Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator - Structural Metal Specialist to join our team at Steel Art Signs. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal components to form structures, using a variety of techniques including welding and bolting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly
  • Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures
  • Weld or bolt sections together to create strong and durable structures
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to cut and shape metal components
  • Construct patterns and templates to ensure precise fit and finish
  • Install fabricated components in final product
  • Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite
Requirements
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, Plasma ARC, and ARC spot welding techniques
  • Proficiency with brakes and presses, cutting torches, drills, grinders, shears, and saws
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 40-44 hour workweek. The work language is English.
