Production Material Handler

Graphic Packaging International, Inc. is currently looking for a skilled individual with mechanical expertise to fill the role of Material Handler within our Litho Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and fine-tune the printing machinery.
  • Configure the feeding mechanism.
  • Assist the second Pressman with the replacement of plates and blankets.
  • Ensure availability of press materials.
  • Support make-ready operations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Adhere to company protocols and guidelines.
  • Engage in continuous training opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with Off-Set Printing Press.
  • Background in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Experience with equipment preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
  • Commitment to safety standards and regulations.
  • Respect for colleagues and teamwork.

Employment Type: Full Time

Work Schedule: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
