We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Security Guards to join our team at National Port Security Services Inc. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of security guards and ensuring the safety and security of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Emergency Response: Be the point of contact for emergency situations and handle them in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor quality and production levels to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit progress and other reports to management.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of security guards, and possibly review their performance.
- Training: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Certifications: Hold a CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, and Security Guard License.
- Work Environment: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities: Possess flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
- Experience: Have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
