About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at KING CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction process by performing tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring that they meet the required specifications.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Work at heights and in various locations, including high-rise building construction sites.
  • Handle heavy loads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work site environment: You will be working in a noisy, dusty, and potentially cold or hot environment.
  • Work setting: You will be working at various locations, including high-rise building construction sites.
  • Tasks: You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Construction specialization: You will be working in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction, as well as residential construction.
  • Transportation/travel information: You will be willing to travel to various locations.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: You will be working under pressure, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Weight handling: You will be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Own tools/equipment: You will be required to provide your own steel-toed safety boots and hard hat.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
