About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Webmainland Media Ltd. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to meet the requirements of our clients.
  • Code Maintenance: Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required to ensure they continue to function efficiently.
  • Technical Communication: Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Requirements Gathering: Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements to ensure software meets their needs.
  • Internet Applications: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
Requirements
  • Education: A college or CEGEP degree in a relevant field such as computer science or software engineering.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
