A&R Plumbing & Mechanical Service Inc. is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing services
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

Our team works in various locations, including commercial and residential settings. You will be required to work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and handle heavy loads.
