Job Title: Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Pet Valu. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, store maintenance, and loss prevention
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer loyalty
  • Collaborate with the district manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in the pet care industry
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving sales growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
