About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Team Lead to join our Core Product Solutions (CORE) Identity Team at CARFAX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of customer-facing authentication solutions, ensuring a secure, consistent, and high-quality experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of authentication systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Mentor and guide team members, providing regular feedback on code, team performance, and growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of technical strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate authentication solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Participate in daily huddles and Scrum ceremonies, driving team collaboration and productivity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Expertise in modern authentication frameworks, such as OAuth2.0 and OIDC.
  • Experience with modern front-end JavaScript libraries, including ReactJS, Vue, and Angular.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with full SDLC development, including design, building, testing, deployment, upgrade, and support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Delivery.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with SEO and/or mobile development.
  • Proven track record of building large-scale, common applications or services that enrich multiple products.
