About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Executive Underwriter to join our team at DGA Careers. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for maintaining a profitable book of business and ensuring that renewals, endorsements, and cancellations are within guidelines and set standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance policies to ensure profitability and growth
  • Collaborate with brokers to develop and maintain strong relationships, driving retention and expansion of business
  • Analyze market trends and implement company procedures to identify new opportunities for expansion
  • Mentor junior underwriters and provide support to managers in developing additional guidelines
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial underwriting experience
  • Proven track record of handling complex risks and developing business growth strategies
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 per annum
