Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Western 1 Drywall Ltd. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings are properly insulated to meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selecting the appropriate insulation materials and equipment for each project
  • Measuring and cutting insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Applying and securing insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods
  • Fitting insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Brushing waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials
  • Fabricating and applying removable insulation pads and covers
  • Assembling, erecting, and dismantling scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
  • Removing asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, and mold and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
  • Interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in insulation installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours of work per week
