Job Title: Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Petra Tires. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Direct and control daily store operations, manage staff, and assign duties to ensure efficient and effective store performance.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Merchandise Management: Plan and organize merchandise displays, manage inventory levels, and ensure accurate stock counts.
  • Market Research: Study market trends and consumer demand to inform purchasing decisions and drive sales growth.
  • Staffing and Training: Determine staffing requirements, recruit and train staff, and develop their skills to ensure excellent customer service and store performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring a positive store experience.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of retail management experience or equivalent.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in point-of-sale systems and accounting software.
  • Area of Specialization: Shipping and receiving, trading, and inventory control.
  • Security and Safety: Valid driver's license and ability to perform driver's validity license checks.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment, retail business, or retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
