Aspire Bakeries, a prominent North American baking enterprise renowned for its diverse array of frozen baked products, is in search of a committed individual to join our team as a Maintenance Operations Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement work orders efficiently.
- Generate and manage SAP work orders and purchase order requests.
- Prioritize and organize preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Provide support for troubleshooting during production interruptions.
- Supervise on-site contractors effectively.
- Enhance communication across departments.
- Participate in production meetings to uphold food safety standards.
- Promote safety for employees and the facility.
- Develop strategies for achieving operational goals.
- Optimize production techniques and equipment efficiency.
- Monitor and anticipate equipment malfunctions.
- Lead fault analysis and troubleshooting efforts.
- Deliver training and maintain comprehensive records.
- Foster a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Millwright or Electrician in Ontario, or possess an Engineering degree.
- 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Class B refrigeration operator certification is advantageous.
- Experience in the food production sector is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach.
- Technical problem-solving experience in trades.
- Willingness to pursue further certifications.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with government regulations, GMPs, and HACCP principles.
