Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining exceptional Guest Services. This role supports the Store Manager in various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profitability goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Guest Services and customer satisfaction
  • Control expenses and shrinkage, and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement merchandising plans
  • Recruit, train, and develop store staff to ensure excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18
  • Prior retail and/or management experience required
  • Ability to work up to 38 hours per week
  • Physical demands of the job require standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
