Axient is a leading provider of advanced technologies for defense and civilian missions. We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a DevSecOps pipeline for a Command and Control (C2) system. This position requires onsite support at NSWC Dahlgren in King George, VA and may involve occasional off-hours support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support code deployments, including troubleshooting, spin up services/pods, and performing vulnerability scans.
  • Perform CI/CD pipeline patching, upgrades, and implement Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Requirements
  • Fully Adjudicated Top Secret Clearance (United States Citizenship Required).
  • 3+ years of experience in a CI/CD environment using containerization technologies and cloud environments.
  • CompTIA Security + certification and experience with Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
  • CompTIA CASP or CISSP certification and experience with supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with web development or microservice architectures and supporting operations for projects with four or more Scrum development teams.
