We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our team at Affinity Law Professional Corp.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on their legal rights and matters related to law, performing administrative functions, and representing clients in courts of law. They will also be responsible for drawing up legal documents, negotiating settlements, and supervising professional and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and matters related to law
  • Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law
  • Represent clients in courts of law, tribunals, and boards
  • Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion
  • Negotiate settlements of civil disputes
  • Supervise professional, para-legal, and support staff
  • Research legal precedents and gather evidence
Requirements
  • Membership in the Canadian Bar Association
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Client focus and dependability
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility
