Our team has a long history of delivering complex projects in the chemical industry, and we are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Process Engineer to lead our process engineering team in the development of chemical projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, with a focus on the chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of process engineering deliverables, including process simulations, heat and material balances, and process equipment sizing.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to support PFD and P&ID development.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Interface with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Conduct conceptual studies through to detail engineering stages, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Supervise a team of process engineers, providing guidance and support to junior and intermediate engineers.
  • Perform checking of all process engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular reporting, scheduling, and resource planning to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Currently registered or eligible for registration with a professional engineering association.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the chemical industry, with a focus on process engineering.
  • Proficient in HYSYS and/or ProMax.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Ability to coordinate with team members in other workshare offices.
  • PHA experience is required.
