Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled welder apprentice to join our team at WCTR Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal
  • Use welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support for newcomers and refugees
  • Ability to offer mentorship and coaching to youth and Indigenous workers
