Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerial Lineman to join our team at Congruex. As a key member of our wireless and engineering construction team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain major cable systems and structures, including aerial strand, pole transfers, down-guys, and cable replacements.
  • Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and engineering drawings to determine work to be done.
  • Perform construction work, including digging holes, climbing telephone poles, and laying cable and conduit in the ground.
  • Operate power equipment, such as compressors, pumps, and hydraulic aerial lifts.
  • Use test equipment to check for gas in manholes and respond to emergency and outage situations.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with governmental orders.
  • Work outdoors in inclement weather conditions and maintain safe working habits.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and transportation.
  • Recent experience in telecommunications line construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of approved practices, procedures, tools, and materials used in telecom line construction work.
  • Ability to lift moderately heavy equipment and climb structures.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR.
  • Ability to apply mathematics calculations and logical principles to solve problems.
