We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at NAINA'S INDIAN KITCHEN BAR & GRILL INC. as a key member of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
Food Cost ControlMonitor and control food costs to ensure profitability and efficiency in our kitchen operations.
Staff ManagementLead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and quality food.
Inventory ManagementOversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of food and kitchen supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
Cleanliness and SafetyMaintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
ExperienceAt least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
SkillsExcellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Personal QualitiesDependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities- Work Environment
Fast-paced kitchen environment with repetitive tasks and overtime required.
Physical DemandsAbility to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
