About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at NAINA'S INDIAN KITCHEN BAR & GRILL INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Food Cost Control

Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability and efficiency in our kitchen operations.

Staff Management

Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and quality food.

Inventory Management

Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of food and kitchen supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.

Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Skills

Excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Qualities

Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
