- Supply Management: Receive and organize supplies in designated storage areas, ensuring that all necessary items are readily available for kitchen staff.
- Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Floor Maintenance: Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and polishing to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Food Preparation: Prepare vegetables and fruit by washing, peeling, and cutting to support the preparation of meals.
- Community Engagement: Participate in community programs and initiatives that support various groups, including newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude towards colleagues and management.
- Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
