Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

Calmont Truck Centre, Calgary is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including trucks, trailers, and attachments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using computerized and other testing equipment.
  • Adjust and repair or replace defective parts to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work as required.
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks and service attachments and working tools.
  • Verify and repair emission control systems.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and other required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
