Automotive Service Technician

Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at The Group of Companies, a privately owned Canadian business with a focus on exceptional customer service and employee growth.
About the Role: As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and providing excellent customer service.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and engine tune-ups
- Determine if additional safety or service work is required by thoroughly examining vehicles
- Ensure all vehicles qualify for warranty prior to performing warranty repairs
- Perform road tests using safe driving standards
- Provide excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills
- Maintain a clean and organized service shop
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs
Requirements:
- Valid S License
- Kia experience is considered an asset
- Valid G Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- High School Diploma or equivalent
