Key Responsibilities- Delivery and Pick-up Services: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
- Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers.
- Payment and Invoicing: Accept payment or invoices for items delivered, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our team.
- Sales and Marketing: Sell products over established routes, promoting our company's offerings and building strong relationships with customers.
- Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Special Events: Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
- Trip Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and ensure efficient delivery services.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, ensuring prompt maintenance and repair of our fleet.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Air Brakes Endorsement and a Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
- Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
