Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Aspira Empire Crossing Retirement Living. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and clean environment for our residents. You will be responsible for providing thorough cleaning services, including resident room cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dusting. You will also be responsible for preparing rooms for new occupants and ensuring they are tour-ready at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough cleaning services, including:
- Resident room cleaning as per assigned schedule
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets
- Spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
- Dusting and sanitizing furniture, shelves, and woodwork
- Emptying wastebaskets and rearranging furniture
- Daily cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms, including floors, fixtures, and walls
Requirements
- You are compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living life fully
- You are detail-oriented and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff
- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
