Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Fleet Vehicle and Transport Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and security of our fleet vehicles and transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and security regulations and standards.
- Manage employee driving records and ensure all drivers have valid permits.
- Process and manage driver authorization requests from the SAAQ.
- Update employee records in a timely manner.
- Ensure all fleet vehicles are properly maintained and meet regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze PEVL reports to ensure compliance.
- Manage traffic infractions and insurance claims.
- Sensitize employees to road safety regulations and best practices.
- Communicate necessary corrections to the Delivery Director and track progress.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to complete legal documentation, such as SAAQ forms.
- Experience in mechanics or related field (verification pending).
- Proven initiative, autonomy, proactivity, and judgment.
- Bilingualism (oral and written).
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
