We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Prairie Hill Farms Ltd. As a key member of our farm team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective harvesting of our crops.
Key Responsibilities- Crop Harvesting: Clean the crops, divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots, grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour and volume, and pack fruits and vegetables.
- Farm Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, greenhouse cleaning, and weeding.
- Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, shear and shape trees and plants with a knife, and tie and secure plants.
- Logistics: Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
- Quality Control: Measure or weigh products and maintain equipment.
As a Harvesting Labourer at Prairie Hill Farms Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be exposed to all weather conditions and will be required to work in a rural area.
