About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Amrit Pal Singh Bains. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Stock linen closets, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • General Assistance: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
