Snow Plow Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a combo plow unit, performing snow removal on local roads and highways as per contract requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating a combo plow unit to clear snow and ice from roads and highways
• Maintaining accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment, conducting routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Familiarizing yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates
• Meeting call-in requirements during winter storm events

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract
• Availability to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
• Ability to operate a loader and perform other maintenance duties
• Ability to work assigned shifts, extended hours, and in extreme weather conditions

We are looking for candidates with:

• Ability to drive manual transmission
• Previous experience in winter-works operations
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Good understanding of MTO standards and AMC Contract Performance Requirements
