Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage food preparation, service, and inventory.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and train food service staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about menu items, preparation methods, and customer service standards.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have sufficient stock of food, supplies, and equipment to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor and control inventory costs to ensure profitability.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and labor costs to management.
    • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Ability to train and develop staff
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service environment, interacting with customers, staff, and management on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
