About the Role

The City of Regina is seeking enthusiastic individuals to contribute to our vibrant Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department. As a Recreation Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering diverse and inclusive recreational activities to our community.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead engaging sport, culture, and recreation programs that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities.
  • Prepare facilities, set up equipment, and ensure the smooth operation of scheduled programs.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating initiative and sound judgment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and serve as a positive role model for children and youth.
  • Maintain flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends, based on operational needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Reliability, dependability, and the ability to travel within the city.
  • Preference given to candidates with post-secondary education in Kinesiology, Education, or related fields.
