RT Medical is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in a long-term care facility setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor residents' health status, developing and implementing care plans based on individual needs.
- Provide wound care, manage medical equipment, and educate residents and their families on health management.
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by other healthcare staff, responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid.
- Document residents' medical histories and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BScN) or Bachelor of Nursing degree (BN)
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
- Updated immunization records, including completion of a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months
- Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills
- Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Submission of proof of two COVID vaccinations
- TB test completed within 6 months to a year
