Position Overview

The Burger Factory is seeking a skilled Meat Processing Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the preparation and sale of high-quality meats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meat Preparation: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting.
  • Carcass Management: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to ensure optimal product quality.
  • Standard Cuts: Trim and prepare standard cuts of meat for retail display.
  • Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale.
  • Bone Removal: Skillfully remove bones from meat products.
  • Poultry Processing: Cut poultry into parts for customer convenience.
  • Customer Service: Sell meats to customers with a focus on quality and service.
  • Supervision: Oversee the work of other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers.
  • Cooked Meats: Slice cooked meats for customer orders.
  • Meat Presentation: Shape, lace, and tie roasts, poultry, and seafood for attractive display.
Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train; prior experience is a plus.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: English is the primary working language.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
