Job Summary:

The Learning Resources Teacher/Inclusive Education Coordinator at Evergreen Independent School is expected to provide exceptional educational support to students, staff, and the community. This role involves coordinating and implementing inclusive education programs, developing and maintaining learning resources, and collaborating with teachers to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inclusive education programs that cater to diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain learning resources that promote student engagement and understanding
  • Provide educational support to students, staff, and the community, including individualized instruction and group workshops
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to inclusive education
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and program effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in teaching, education, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, with FTE or 15-20 hours per week depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be responsible to the School Principal.
