Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are working efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and achieving their goals.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain high standards of food safety and quality, ensuring that all food is prepared and served in a clean and safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that we have everything we need to operate efficiently.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the food service department, including budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Setting: Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, walking, physically demanding
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
