Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to manage transactions and provide exceptional customer service in a retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register efficiently.
  • Process various forms of payment including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items accurately and tabulate total payments for goods or services.
  • Receive payments and ensure accurate reconciliation of daily transactions.
  • Engage in suggestive selling to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and stock shelves as needed.
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with reservations or take-out orders.
  • Package merchandise appropriately for customers.
