Role Overview

Alo is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a friendly and easy-to-shop environment.
  • Drive sales growth by leading Alo's initiatives, optimizing productivity, and exceeding sales goals.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized recommendations.
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, benefits, and fabric, ensuring accurate information is provided to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to achieve store goals, support action plans, and highlight growth opportunities.
  • Ensure effective sales floor coverage, develop workforce solutions, and lead selling initiatives as needed.
  • Confidently introduce the Alo business model, including retail, yoga, and café, through personal testimony and knowledge.
  • Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
  • Resolve customer needs quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Educate guests and staff on Alo's product, community, and culture.
  • Understand and protect the daily schedule, prioritizing the best business strategy in partnership with the Store Leadership.
  • Assist in processing shipments, ensuring product flow, and maintaining visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment excellence.
  • Ensure all front and back-of-house procedures are executed in accordance with company Policy & Procedure.
  • Support other areas of the business, including Sales and Cashier, as needed.
Requirements
  • Preferred 1+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
  • Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team.
  • Fosters genuine connection through empathy, compassion, integrity, and building trusting relationships.

Compensation

The Company's Associate base pay ranges from $16.00 - $18.00/CAD hour in Edmonton, AB. Associates are eligible to participate in the Company's Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may result in bringing the total compensation to a higher range.
