About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sawmill Labourer to join our team at Ben Hokum and Son Limited. As a Sawmill Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the operation of various woodworking machines and equipment, ensuring the efficient production of lumber.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist other processing workers in the operation of various woodworking machines and equipment
  • Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Clean work area
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Previous experience in a sawmill or woodworking environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
