Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Possession of an unrestricted Class 5 FULL Driver's License
  • Submission of a 3-year Drivers Abstract
  • In-depth knowledge of the Edmonton area and its surroundings
  • Confidence in navigating various road conditions
  • Ability to represent Paladin with professionalism and excellent customer service, along with effective communication skills when interacting with clients, emergency personnel, and the public
  • Capability to multitask, perform under pressure, and make sound decisions in emergency situations
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including the preparation of detailed reports
  • Maintain accurate patrol records
  • Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion

Essential Job Functions:

  • Professional representation of Paladin through driving and conduct
  • Driving through city streets under various road and traffic conditions
  • Utilizing smartphone applications to conduct nightly patrols in designated areas
  • Writing comprehensive and precise reports regarding all incidents
  • Completing patrols of commercial and residential properties for our clients
  • Fostering effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Maintaining professional and discreet communication via 2-way radio and cellular devices
  • Executing opening and closing procedures for client premises
  • Ensuring standards of fleet vehicles are upheld
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
