Job Summary

The Lighting Technical Specialist is a key member of the Encore Canada team, responsible for the setup and operation of lighting systems for live events. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful execution of events by accurately setting up, operating, and breaking down lighting and audiovisual equipment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Comply with all company security and safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional customer service and exceed client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Encore Technical Level 3 Certification is required, with Level 2 certifications in Audio, Lighting, Projection, and Video.
  • 4+ years of experience in the specialty area, with 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
